Referrals

With the growth of mobile phones and technological advancements, new companies are using technology to disrupt traditional industries that impact our everyday lives; fast food, rental cars, movie tickets, hotels, mattresses, etc. And these new companies are using referral programs to not only get the word out, but hopefully build their customer base.

A referral program isn’t just the a literal word of mouth any longer, it’s text messages, emails, and sharing referral links on social media. It’s  a deliberate way of leveraging current users to refer their friends to that business — usually with an incentive for both sides.
