Hurry! Get 30% off an annual Citi Bike NYC membership for $119 (was $169)

My Citibike annual membership expired before I went home for Thanksgiving, and when I got back to the city, I realized when I opened up the app that I needed to renew. I was definitely going to be late.

When I went to Citi Bike’s site on my phone, I saw they had a banner for a Black Friday sale that was still active today (It’s Saturday).

I clicked on the link and yes, it the deal was still active! I immediately purchased a gift to myself.

The company then immediately sent me a promo code that I used to easily renewed my membership with. That was a simple 30% off the annual membership! What was $169 + tax became $119 + tax!

Membership not up yet?  Don’t worry, you don’t have to use it immediately as there doesn’t seem to be an expiration date! Meaning you can buy one today and use the code when your subscription is up. Just remember to undo auto-renew on your account.

Here’s what the landing page says:

Give the gift of bike share! Citi Bike is a great way to get around the city – it’s faster than walking, cheaper than a taxi and more fun than the subway. With 12,000 bikes and 750 stations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Jersey City, it’s easy to grab a bike whenever and wherever you need one.

The Citi Bike Annual Membership includes unlimited rides for a full year, and the first 45 minutes of each ride are always free. When you gift a membership, you’ll pay for the base price of $169, and the recipient will be responsible for any additional usage fees incurred from rides longer than 45 minutes. (See our Annual Membership page for more details.)

Just enter your recipient’s email address and we’ll email them a gift code and instructions for signing up online or use your email to keep this a surprise until the special day comes!

As of this post, the “black friday” deal is still active.
