Juice Press closing their app, re-launching new “JP Rewards Program”

Looks like another fast casual place is moving away from Level Up. They sent the standard form letter thanking their app users for their “continued loyalty to JP and for bearing with us during this tech transition. Their email said this:

Over the next couple of weeks we will be phasing out and closing the JP Level Up App. Throughout this transition, stores will no longer be able to accept your app as a form of payment — please bring another method of payment and note that Apple Pay and Google Pay will be available for these transitioned stores.

Of course Juice Press is spinning it and saying they’re really excited to be launching their new JP Rewards Program on September 10th which we interpret means they’ll be saving money. Their new program means that every dollar spent earns points towards JP products, merchandise, and other menu items.

We’re confident that you’ll love this program and we can’t wait to hear what you think. Please note that the current points on your JP App will be transferred at an increased rate and any credits will be transferred as well. Should you have any questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to email us at loyalty@juicepress.comWe are here to listen and help!

Some pretty standard verbiage. We’ll see how this new app works and whether it’s actually better for their customers. Time will tell. Hopefully we’ll have good and free juices for next summer!
